These lights are great for indoors and outdoors, they can be used in a window display as they are battery operated so don't need to be near a power socket. Drape them over a tree or bush outside to light up your garden.

The timer turns the lights on for 6 hours and off for 18 hours. The batteries are expected to last 25 days in these lights without needing to change them!
