The Cabbage Greyhound is a popular variety for early crops producing pointed heads with a wonderful flavour. The cabbage is perfect for steaming, as well as adding to salads, coleslaws and stir-fries.
Indoor Planting:Â
For early crops seeds 1.5cm deep in trays of moist compost, be careful not to over water. Store in glass house at an approx temperature of 10-15 degrees.Â
Outdoor Planting:
Sow Seeds thinly 1.5cm deep direct in growing bed. Keep the soil moist and be careful not to over water. When large enough to handle, thin to 18'' (45cm) apart. Ideal for successful sowing, keep well watered in dry conditions and feed with a liquid fertiliser.
