The chili cayenne is the favourite hot chili which is green while maturing to bright red when fully grown. This type of chili of the best known chilli peppers for adding a hot, pungent flavour to your favourite dishes and sauces. Chilli Pepper ‘Cayenne' is an upright variety producing good yields.

Indoor Planting
Sow seeds 5mm deep in pots or trays of moist compost, store in a warm place at an approx temperature of 18-21 degrees. Do not exclude light as this helps the seeds germinate. Ensure that the compost is moist at all times. Once all chance of frost has passed the plants can be transported into growing beds or patio tubs include, harden off first.
It would be useful to cover with cloches for extra protection and is ideal to keep them in a greenhouse or indoors. Pick fruits to encourage more to grow and feed regularly with a tomato liquid fertiliser.
