This tool is designed to create a fishtail braid, you will need a friend to help with this. The fishtail braid is unusual looking and creates something neat and tidy but also pretty. You can create a braid and style it many different ways.
To use the crisscrosser you will need dry hair and a hair band. Start a the nape of the neck and separate your hair into 2 sections and slot each one into opposite sides of the tool (the waves of the tool should be behind your hair), using 2 fingers get a small piece of hair from one side of the tool and cross it to the other and secure in the section, the repeat on the opposite side (ensure the strands moved are pushed right into the tool so that they are not picked next as you go), alternate sides as you go down the hair to the end then just secure with a hard band. Done!
